Slogans are used on a daily basis by businesses, politicians, and special interest groups to convey their products and ideologies in easy to remember, simple messages.  While their slogans are often effective, like the tip of an iceberg, these groups have agendas that lie far beneath the surface of the sea of appearance.

The purpose of antislogan.org is to delve under the waves in a search for fact and meaning.  Our Copy & Paste Society allows information to be easily shared with the click of a button at the expense of research and reflection.  But the complexities of human existence require diligent thought, and never ending curiosity.

Knowledge can be taken for granted, trivialized and compartmentalized into snippets that only confirm our existing beliefs.  Without the desire to expand our worldview, we run the risk of losing the imaginative spark that has propelled our species across the planet and left our footprints and track marks on other worlds.

It is said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, and we intend to begin that journey today.  Although we may become lost in the ever changing labyrinth of shifting political alliances and the intricate mazes of corporate finance, we shall be guided by the principles of truth, and the illumination of self.
